Tsukasa adds that he already has a "destiny with someone else." Shigeru visits Tsukushi and Yuki Matsuoka to talk about Tsukasa. Sachiyo Sengoku advises her to "pry [her] destiny open." Yuki confesses that Sojiro Nishikado ignores her calls. Sachiyo phones Akira Mimasaka and secures Yuki an invite to his house.

Tsukushi and Yuki go to Akira's house the next day. They are taken aback by the decor and Akira's mother, who they mistakenly think is his older sister.
