Chapter 46 (
Tsukasa Domyoji demands for the principal to expel Tsukushi Makino and Rui Hanazawa. His sister, Tsubaki stops him and proposes they settle their problem through sports. They decide to play a basketball game.
Plot[]
Tsubaki Domyoji charges through the halls of Eitoku Academy, causing an uproar among the students. Tsukushi Makino is surprised that everyone seems to know who she is. Yuriko Asai and her friends look at her with contempt, before then listing Tsubaki's achievements and calling her a "legend." Tsubaki then passes by, calling Tsukushi "Yomogi" and telling her to come with her. In the principal's office, he hesitates when Tsukasa Domyoji asks him to expel Tsukushi and Rui Hanazawa.
A second later, Tsubaki bursts into the office and proceeds to beat up Tsukasa. She then asks the principal to "ignore him," but Tsukasa yells at him to "expel them." Tsukushi interjects, saying "I'll leave this academy!" Rui enters and and says he will leave instead. Akira Mimasaka then promises to "quit" too, leading to an argument with Tsukasa. Tsubaki yells at everyone to stop, before suggesting they settle this through "sports." Perplexed at first, they then agree to play a three-on-three basketball game.
Tsukushi, Rui, and Kazuya Aoike begin practicing, despite their obvious disadvantage. Rui then shows off some of basketball skills. He promises them that they will not lose the game, saying "I have something I want to protect, too." That night, Tsukushi meets Tsukasa on her way home. Initially suspicious, shes tells him "You're not going to have an easy win tomorrow." As such, he surprises her by hugging her and saying "If you'd only say that you loved me, I'd cancel the showdown tomorrow."
