Takahashi debuted as a voice actor in Macross 7 anime in 1994 and began voice acting for video games in 1997. In 1996, Takahashi voiced Junpei Oribe in Boys Over Flowers.
In 2004, he released his debut album, Arinomama no Hibi (ありのままの日々,Arinomama no Hibi) and has published eight albums since.
