Hana Yori Dango Final (花より男子ファイナル (はなよりだんごファイナル) Hana Yori Dango Fainaru) is the novelization of the film of the same name. It is based on the screenplay by Mikio Satake and Yoko Kamio, author of the original manga. The novel was written by Kanae Shimokawa and published by Shueisha in June 2008.

The novel is separated into ten chapters and features an interview with the film's stars Jun Matsumoto and Mao Inoue.

Premise[]

Tsukasa Domyoji announces his upcoming nuptials with Tsukushi Makino to the entire world. The pair are later presented with a tiara by Tsukasa's mother Kaede. When the tiara is stolen, the two travel around the world to retrieve it. They receive help from Rui Hanazawa, Sojiro Nishikado, and Akira Mimasaka along the way.

Kanae Shimokawa (下川 香苗 (しもかわ かなえ) Shimokawa Kanae, born 1964 in Gifu, Japan) is a Japanese author. She won the Rookie Award in Shueisha's Cobalt magazine and subsequently published her debut work, Yuyake Shoku no Love Letter (1986), with the company. Aside from novels, she has become well known for turning manga and films into light novels for Cobalt. Among the works adapted by Shimokawa are Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai, Gokinjo Monogatari, Kimi ni Todoke, My Love Story!!, and Yoko Kamio's Cat Street.
