Kurara Kotomi (琴美くらら (ことみ くらら) , Kotomi Kurara, born June 3 in Niiza, Japan) is an actress with the Takarazuka Revue. She portrayed Sonoko Maekawa and Hiroko in the musical, Hana Yori Dango (2019).

Biography

Early life

Kotomi was born on June 3 in the city of Niiza located in Saitama Prefecture.

Career

She graduated in the 103rd class of the Takarazuka Music School in 2017. Her class, including Raito Kinami, debuted together in Dramatic "S"! After being placed in the Flower Troupe (花組 () , Flower Troupe), Kotomi appeared in the productions, The Poe Clan, Messiah, and Melancholic Gigolo (all 2018). She later had a minor role in the newcomer version (新人公演 () , shinjin kouen) of Casanova in early 2019. Kotomi played two roles in Hana Yori Dango, namely Sonoko Maekawa and Hiroko. The same year, she appeared in A Fairy Tale playing several small roles. In 2020, Kotomi was in Dance Olympia which celebrated Rei Yuzuka's first role as the new top star.

• In Hana Yori Dango (2019), Kotomi played a variety of background roles. For instance, she appeared as a student, party guest, and park customer. She also danced in the songs, "Metamorphoses" and "Honest Man."
